Do I need a special license to drive?
You'll need a valid driver's license from your home country. In St. Vincent and Grenada, you'll also need a temporary local driving permit — your host can help you arrange this on arrival for a small fee.
What about insurance?
Every vehicle listed on Roam is required to carry active third-party insurance at minimum. Many hosts offer comprehensive coverage. Details are shown on each listing.
How does pickup work?
You arrange pickup directly with your host via messaging. Most hosts offer airport pickup, hotel delivery, or a convenient meeting point. Times and locations are flexible.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your trip. After that, the host's cancellation policy applies — this is shown clearly before you book.
How do I pay?
All payments are processed securely through Roam. We accept major credit cards and support XCD, BBD, and USD. Your host is paid after your trip begins.
Is there roadside assistance?
Yes. Every booking includes 24/7 support. If you experience a breakdown or emergency, contact us through the app and we'll coordinate with your host to resolve it.
